Guest Designer

Get to know Rebecca......

Hi!  I'm Rebecca Deeprose & I've taken a winding road to this wonderful time in my life.  I've had careers as a psychometrist, neuro psychologist and a business woman, along with loads of odd and interesting jobs while working my way through my formal education.  When I'm creating I'm ridiculously, deliriously happy so I don't miss my past.  My British husband and adult son conspire to make life sparkle and keep me laughing.  My thanks to Kirsty for this great opportunity.  I love the City Crafter Challenges and love making contact with so many creative people!

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 123 ~ Wishi Washi 2

Hi everyone
It's Ros back with you this week for a brand new challenge ...
Are you just loving the washi tape craze? I am amazed at the beautiful creations I am seeing in blogland using these tapes ... and they are so easy to make as well
So this week I am challenging you to use Washi or Tissue tape on your projects ... it can be store bought or handmade ... but there is a catch ...
Just to make it more interesting you are only allowed to use 2 other items on your projects!
These can be DP, stamp, flower, or any embellishment you choose
Reckon you can handle that? I hope so because we are looking forward to seeing your creations ...
Have fun!

~ Ros

Welcome aboard Charlene!!!!

Alright.... now on to our newest challenge hosted by Cheryl Nelson

****************************************************************

Hi All!  It is Cheryl back as your hostess this week and I have chosen the theme of "It's a Fabrication"...*and that's the truth*...your challenge is to use fabric on your project this week.  I don't know about you, but I get almost giddy when I walk into a fabric store.  I just LOVE all the pattern and color and texture.  Using fabric on a project can add all those things to it and I'm super excited to see what you all create with it this week.

Guest Designer

Get to know Catherine......

I am french but I have been living in the UK for more than twelve years now. I started paper crafting ten years ago. I used to do a lot of cross-stitching but I had to stop because of problems with my hands. I have never looked back since ! I am totally addicted... I used to make memory albums but since I started my blog I have been mainly making cards. I love kraft cardstock, dies, ribbons... and cute images for me to colour ! Blogland is a wonderful place with great people and a lot of inspiration

Hello Girlies.... It's me Linda
I don't know if you remember a while back when I had you play with an image from The Graphics Fairy on your project (check it out HERE). Well, I had so much fun with this challenge that I wanted to give it another try....
So this week, you MUST use the Butterfly image from The Graphics Fairy. Can't wait to see what you come up with

Get to know Linda......

I’m so honored to have won the opportunity to be guest designer this week. I love City Crafters and these sweet and talented ladies who come up with interesting challenges every week.
I'm a retired graphic designer who has worked in the craft and hobby industry for my entire life, growing up in a family owned business. My husband, aka The Penmaker, and I love traveling and are always on the lookout for a new scrapbook or woodworking shop. My first love is card making, but I’ll try nearly any paper crafting project. I’ve recently branched out into art journaling, and I have to say, that there’s something great about dried paint and gesso on your fingers.
